Best Window in Hertford
Debra from The Beauty Room writes:
"Against all odds last week I completed my Christmas window. Every year I enter the Hertford window competition and hope to be the winner. Well, I entered again this year, the theme being 'Pantomine'. So I got to work.
As the new theatre was opening with Cinderella, I decided to follow suit. But my window has a twist. All the characters from The Wizard of Oz, Peter Pan and Alice and Wonderland are playing the parts in Cinderella.
Confused? The judges weren't! On Friday afternoon I received a call to say I had to meet the Mayor of Hertford in the town square as I had won the 'Best Window in Hertford 2010'. So hard work and a bit of imagination do pay off."
