Hertford's Hidden Gallery
The Hertfordshire Gallery is one of St.Andrew Street's best kept secrets - until now!
Based in the Hertfordshire Graphics Art Shop, it has been established for over five years. It showcases and sells work exclusively from artists and craftspeople based in Hertfordshire.
Works include watercolours, acrylics, oils and photography, as well as glassware and, more recently, hand-made jewellery.
The gallery, soon to be included on the Hertford Arts Trail, regularly updates works, and includes works from the renowned Hertford Art Society as well as the Courtyard Arts Group.
Recently, the gallery has signed up it's hundredth artist. Chris Hewitt, from Hertford, said: "I was delighted to be asked to exhibit here, in my home town of Hertford. As a professional designer, I have known Hertfordshire Graphics for many years, so I jumped at this chance of exhibiting"
Chris' acrylic works will be exhibited alongside many established artists like Pat Ames, Charlotte Smith, Tom Katz and Aileen Lawrence.
The gallery is open six days a week, during normal shop hours.
