Loaves, Fishes and Other Dishes
Amongst the congregation of Hertford St. Andrew’s is many a good cook. At every event held, be it coffee morning, luncheon or special event, many members have provided food, prepared dishes and worked tirelessly alongside the Social Committee doing what has to be done.
Compliments are often given at these events and a request for a recipe made - followed by the comment, “We need our own recipe book.”
“Loaves, Fishes & Other Dishes” has over 150 recipes: from Soups and Starters, Pasta and Fish ideas, to meaty Main Dishes and Vegetarian options. Not to be left out, a delicious Desserts and Baking section.
Some recipes are classics, others more adventurous. Some are recent discoveries, others handed down from generation to generation. All these recipes have been shared by members of Hertford St Andrew to make a cornucopia of wonderful dishes.
Proceeds from the sale of the recipe book go towards the Church as well as assisting our fundraising efforts for a wonderful new hall.
“Loaves, Fishes & Other Dishes” is normally sold for £7.50 however for a special web offer, it is available for £6.50 until Christmas. Books can be bought at the Church Coffee Mornings which are held the first Saturday of the Month from 10:30am until 12:30pm, contacting the Church Office on 01992 504373 or email standrew.hertford@btinternet.com or alternatively we would love to see you at a service on Sunday- 08:00am or 10:30am.St. Andrew’s Coffee Morning Dates:
