MP in Breakfast Meeting
Business men and women in Cheshunt received the benefit of some guidance from Hertford and Stortford MP Mark Prisk. Mr Prisk, the Minister for Business and Enterprise, spoke at the meeting of East Herts Business Breakfast Club on Friday.
Each meeting is sponsored by a local company - in this case Waltham Cross office designers, maintenance firm and refurbishers, DOI Group - and recent presentations have covered employment law, business recovery and insolvency issues, and fire safety and risk assessment.
Mr Prisk spoke about the impact of tax, regulatory changes and access to finance on small and medium sized businesses in the current economic climate and answered questions.
Organised by the regional Barclays Bank corporate team and Hertford-based chartered accountants Wilkins Kennedy, the meeting took place at DeVere in Theobalds Park.
